I went to California with 6 of my friends last weekend. We had so much fun. the ocean was beautiful and the waves were great! We stayed up late talking and then slept in, we ate our way through San Diego and Orange County, yummy, yummy food.
It was really nice to reconnect to my female friends. It was also wonderful to miss my family and have them miss me and be able to come back all excited to be a wife and mom. Thanks Derek for taking such good care of our kids!
We had so much fun that I forgot to take a lot of pictures. But here are a few.

I am so glad that you went. It was so fun getting to know everyone on another level. I still miss the Skinnywich at Mutt's. YUM!

That was a blast! We have to do it more often. It's nice to just eat good food, laugh and sleep in! I forgot what that was like without the kids around. You crack me up! I love your stories!
